GPG manages a total installed capacity of 4,100 MW and employs around 800 people worldwide.
This year, GPG will start the construction of three new wind farms in Victoria and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in the ACT. In total, GPG will be contributing with approximately 600MW of installed capacity into the Australia Energy Grid by 2022, through its Australian subsidiary GPG Australia. The Company aims to become one of the main renewable operators in Australia in the next three years and reaching a total capacity of more than 1.3 GW through the signature of new Purchase Power Agreements (PPAs).
GPG is also committed to establishing a high level of engagement and social license with the local communities surrounding their renewable power plants as well as providing benefits through the implementation of Community Engagement Plans (CEPs).
Additionally, GPG has clear and measurable commitments in terms of local contents for its wind farms developed in Victoria and is aware of the benefits that adequate engagement of local and regional contractors/suppliers can bring to our projects. GPG and its contractors also ensure the creation of numerous local employment opportunities, not only during the construction phase but also during the operation period.
